About Richard Harvey

I am a freelance hair and make-up artist based in Manchester working across the country. My interest in Hair, make-up and the fashion industry was inspired at an early age when I inherited my mum's Avon kit! I completed my formal training in Liverpool. I have over 10 years experience in the cosmetics and photographic industry; specialising as a make up artist in my early years working for noted cosmetics houses such as: Space NK, Trish McEvoy, Lancôme, Clinique, and YSL. I now specialise in still photographic work within the advertising and fashion industry. My other work includes: Interviews on tevevision, working for various beauty magazines, providing makeovers for actresses at award ceremonies and other red carpet events; still images for use as props for advertising and promotional work within Television; presentations and talks to groups of corporate and private clients. Within the industry I have a reputation as being professional, efficient, witty with good social skills; and most importantly a team player (or so I am told!)

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the clients, photographers and agency who offered me breaks in the early days.
